WE TEACH
Built on the foundation that each style of learning is unique and important. Our teaching styles model includes auditory, visual and kinesthetic learners but most importantly we consider how children think, what motivates their learning, their interests, their talents and tailoring the environment in which they learn. Gaging a child’s learning style is imperative for any type of teaching environment. Based on each child’s unique pace of development and strengths, PEY ACADEMY partners with parents regarding the instructional needs of each student, creating the desire to learn.
Pey Academy utilizes various academic resources in order to capture and create the most appropriate learning plan for each learner. Currently the ABEKA curriculum is the primary curriculum of choice. However the school often aligns curriculum with state and national standards in order to effectively target systematic interventions for diversified learning.
We ask God to inspire teachers to be the best role models always speaking the truth in love to the children who look up to them. We teach our students to pray whether they are a public school, private school, blended or homeschool family. A great way to start the school day is to pray for teachers, students, schools, families and communities.
